QuickBooks Connector and AI-Assisted Analysis
When an authorized Lone Star Technology Group administrator connects the QuickBooks Read-Only Connector, we receive accounting information from the selected QuickBooks Online company through Intuit’s Accounting API. Depending on the administrator’s request, this may include company information, accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, and financial reports.
We use this information only to provide administrator-requested reporting, reconciliation support, and business or financial analysis. The Connector enforces read-only API operations and cannot create, edit, delete, approve, or pay QuickBooks transactions. It does not connect to the QuickBooks Payments API.
The Connector stores Intuit OAuth tokens in encrypted form on the authorized local system. Client credentials are managed separately in a secrets-management service. Credentials and OAuth tokens are not included in Connector output or application logs. Access may be revoked through the Connector or QuickBooks Online’s connected-app settings.
When an administrator requests AI-assisted analysis, the QuickBooks information needed for that request is transmitted to the AI provider selected by the administrator, which may include OpenAI or Anthropic. Those providers process the information under their applicable terms and privacy commitments. Administrators should request only information they are authorized to disclose to the selected provider.
The Connector does not maintain a separate database of QuickBooks records. Requested information may remain in AI-session history, administrator-created reports, or other outputs retained by the administrator or the selected service provider. OAuth tokens remain until they expire or access is revoked, subject to Intuit’s token policies.
For questions or requests concerning QuickBooks information processed through the Connector, contact help@lstg.io.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond consistent with applicable law. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link where provided.
Data Retention
We retain personal and system information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain our business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, and contractual obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
