QuickBooks Read-Only Connector

The Lone Star Technology Group QuickBooks Read-Only Connector is a private, internal integration used by authorized Lone Star Technology Group LLC administrators to retrieve accounting information from the company’s QuickBooks Online account for user-requested reporting and analysis.

What the connector does

  • Uses Intuit OAuth 2.0 to connect an authorized QuickBooks Online company.
  • Retrieves accounting records and reports only when an authorized administrator requests them.
  • Enforces read-only API operations. It cannot create, edit, delete, approve, or pay QuickBooks transactions.
  • May provide selected results to an administrator-selected AI service for analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Connecting or reconnecting

Connection and reconnection are available only to authorized Lone Star Technology Group administrators through the locally installed connector. The administrator must sign in to Intuit and approve access to the selected QuickBooks company.

Disconnecting

An authorized administrator can disconnect the connector through the locally installed connector or revoke access from QuickBooks Online’s connected-app settings. Disconnecting revokes the OAuth grant and removes the locally stored OAuth tokens.
